TB12 Training Facility - New Construction

A full suite training facility including private rooms, studios, locker room spaces, administrative office & lounge space, a smoothie bar, retail front, and full-scale 22-foot wide video wall.

The Process

Stalgrid worked as a sub contractor and specialist for KORE Technologies on this project. Working in conjunction with Boston's largest electrical and construction contractors, additionally adhering to union regulation.

Boston's Tom Brady had a vision for his trademark gym, open now on Beacon Street in Boston. This space included a street level retail area, smoothie bar and 260x260" video wall. Downstairs included 8 private training rooms, a full 500sqft turf area, 3 yoga studios, two locker rooms and multiple administrative and team focus rooms. Our job ranged from rough wiring, to systems design, to extensive installations of dozens of speakers, and TVs aswell as lighting controls and in-wall touchpanels.

As one of Stalgrid's largest commercial projects at the time, we were and are proud of the outcome and utility of this space. We leverage Xantech media over IP solutions to bring video sources to over 30 displays, including 16x65" flush TVs for the video wall. We additionally installed over 40x70V commercial grade speakers and subwoofers with separated into 8 zones for individualized volume and content control. We additionally installed numerous surveillance cameras, and blanketed the space with commercial grade fast roaming wireless access. From there we integrated the 3rd party access control and Lutron QS lighting systems with our Elan Automation Controller.

The End

As the main sub and lead programming team, Stalgrid maintains a stake in TB12's elaborate systems. We maintain and monitor the Sophos secure endpoint systems as well as AccessNET wireless. At the request of KORE we additionally perform programming changes, backups and onsite emergency maintenance. We additionally update and aid the marketing team with their content for the video wall- providing a massive 22 foot by 18 foot marketing wall directly on Boylston St.
